THE MANIFESTO
See the main priorities in our manifesto aimed at bringing a strongly desired change to a better development of Bulgaria’s most popular sport.
It is designed in accordance with the need for growth, repeatedly expressed by the large majority of the football clubs around the country, and their demands for changes in almost every aspect of football governance.
Who are we
A team of proven football personalities and experts who possess the necessary education and practice to execute the transformation required for a higher level of football development in Bulgaria.
The Campaign
We presented our ideas for changing Bulgarian football to teams from every single region in Bulgaria.
We visited all the major football centres in the country and showed the respect, that domestic football clubs deserve.

The Congress
In 2018, separate ballot papers were used for each candidate and the unused ones were utilised as a “report” to the BFU representatives after the election, as a “proof of loyalty“.
We insist on voting with a single ballot – this would neutralise the main instrument for intimidating voters.
HOW CAN A CONGRESS BE HELD IN TRANSPARENCY
- Voting takes place in a “dark room” – this means it can be easily manipulated
- Voting for a quorum by raising hands – this instils fear in voting members
- Voting with a 3-to-1 ballot – this often leads to confusion and therefore threatens the integrity of the vote
- Open voting – using transparent ballot boxes in front of present delegates
- Voting for a quorum while the secrecy of the vote through the use of anonymous ballots
- Voting with an integral ballot
WHY DIMITAR BERBATOV
Hello, my name is Dimitar Berbatov. I am running for president of the Bulgarian Football Union and I need your support because:
– bulgarian football is in desperate need for change.
– my team consists of proven professionals.
– ethic and transparency always come first for me.
At the end of the day, the choice is yours, to the clubs. It is about whether you want change and are willing to vote for it, or you are satisfied with the status quo and prefer everything to continue in the same old way.
